Building Tomorrow’s Robots with Bonac Bots
Bonac Bots is dedicated to inspiring innovation and teamwork through robotics. We strive to foster creativity and technical skills while engaging our community in STEM education and competitive challenges.

Last year, students from the East Hampton high school joined the Sag Harbor Team and competed in the Long Island FIRST Robotics Competition at Hofstra University.
The lead coaches at East Hampton, Urban Reininger and Trevor Gregory, have decades of experience teaching robotics, coding, design, 3D modeling, fabrication, and shop classes.
FIRST stands for “For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology”. It’s a global non-profit organization founded by Dean Kamen in 1989 to inspire young people to pursue education and careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields through exciting, team-based robotics programs. FIRST encourages collaboration and respectful competition among teams.
